Meet the 2023 ProcureTech100 Panellists

The Procurement leaders and experts behind this year’s ProcureTech100 selection process

Now in its third year, the ProcureTech100 are the definitive, global 100 pioneering digital Procurement solutions.

The ProcureTech100 are the pioneers pushing the digital frontiers for Procurement.  
They will be scaling adoption, applying GenAI, disrupting digital ways of working, driving decision intelligence and delivering exceptional UX, all in an environment of significant economic, social and environmental change.

ProcureTech100 selection criteria

The ProcureTech100 is formed from quantitative and qualitative data sets, which are analysed and assessed to identify the leading digital procurement solutions across 14 categories. To do this, they go through the following process:

1. Research the ProcureTech ecosystem

We have researched the digital Procurement ecosystem and identified over 5,000 procurement technology, data and analytics solutions to be considered for the ProcureTech100. This initial analysis reinforces the dynamic and increasingly diverse nature of the procurement technology ecosystem.

2. Create the ProcureTech100 shortlist

We then apply statistical analysis, using over 50 key data points - including growth, security, customer, financial and employee data - to create the shortlist.

3. Identify the ProcureTech100

Panellists review and collaboratively discuss the shortlist, which is an essential contributory element to defining the 2023 ProcureTech100.

4. Announce the ProcureTech100

The 2023 ProcureTech100 will be shared with companies and media, and announced by ProcureTech at its virtual PIONEERS event on November 2nd.

Our independently selected panel is made up of over 70 high-profile experts, including CPOs, CIOs, B2B Investors and Analysts – all of whom are passionate about digital procurement. They review and provide feedback on the shortlist, which is then integrated with the shortlisted data points, to create the ProcureTech100.

After the process of statistical analysis - which is applied to over 50 key data points, including growth, security, customer, financial and employee data - the shortlist of approximately 200 digital solutions is reviewed by the panel, across 14 categories.

At the panels, Lance Younger shares category-specific information with the panellists, before taking a deep-dive into the shortlisted solutions.  

Then, lively, informative and insightful discussions take place with CPOs and Heads of Transformation, who have extensive in-depth knowledge, and are deeply passionate about moving Procurement forward.
